Cem Önenç Appointed as CEO of Inveo Portfolio Management

A high-level appointment has taken place at Inveo Portfolio Management. Dr. Cem Önenç has been appointed as the General Manager of Inveo Portfolio, effective January 7, 2025.

Operating in the field of portfolio management since 2008, Inveo Portfolio continues to add value to its investors' financial goals with 47 investment funds and an active portfolio management approach, reaching over 20 billion TL in asset size. Dr. Önder Halisdemir, the Chairman of Inveo Portfolio's Board of Directors, stated regarding the appointment, "Our team, strengthened by the addition of Cem Önenç, one of the leading names in our sector, will continue to move forward with determination towards our set objectives. Who is Cem Önenç?

Önenç began his career in 1997 at DenizBank, where he held senior management positions in Treasury, Denizbank AG Vienna, Private Banking, and Investment Groups. He served as the General Manager at Deniz Portfolio until 2024 and most recently held the position of Executive Board Member at Tacirler Portfolio. With over 27 years of experience, Önenç is one of the prominent figures in the portfolio management sector; he holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from YTU, an MBA from New York Pace University, and a Master's and Doctorate in Banking from Marmara University.
