TUSMOD's Production and Service Purchase Inflation Increased by 1.01% Monthly and 30.03% Yearly in November

Foreks - The TÜSMOD Production and Service Purchasing Inflation results for November 2024 have been announced. Accordingly, TÜSMOD Production and Service Purchasing Inflation increased by 1.01% compared to the previous month, by 29.28% compared to December of the previous year, and by 30.03% compared to the same month of the previous year.

By category, the highest purchasing inflation in November was seen in food prices at 3.26%, while the lowest purchasing inflation was recorded in plastic prices with a decrease of 2.08%.

The TÜSMOD General Price Index for November 2024 was recorded at 711.64, reflecting a 1.01% increase from the previous month, a 29.28% increase from December of the previous year, and a 30.03% increase from the same month of the previous year.

It was stated in the announcement: "The TÜSMOD Metal Price Index for November 2024 was recorded at 265.91, showing a decrease of 0.83% compared to the previous month, an increase of 3.78% from December of the previous year, and an increase of 7.70% from the same month of the previous year.

The TÜSMOD Plastic Price Index for November 2024 was recorded at 84.47, reflecting a decrease of 2.08% from the previous month, an increase of 0.41% from December of the previous year, and a decrease of 0.52% from the same month of the previous year.

The TÜSMOD Energy Price Index for November 2024 was recorded at 1045.26, indicating an increase of 1.14% from the previous month, a 12.95% increase from December of the previous year, and a 12.51% increase from the same month of the previous year.

The TÜSMOD Food Price Index for November 2024 stood at 512.89, with an increase of 3.26% from the previous month, a 29.39% increase from December of the previous year, and a 34.11% increase from the same month of the previous year.

The TÜSMOD Service Price Index for November 2024 was recorded at 1649.65, showing an increase of 0.71% from the previous month, a 51.33% increase from December of the previous year, and a 50.92% increase from the same month of the previous year.

The TÜSMOD Freight Price Index for November 2024 was recorded at 211.75, reflecting an increase of 2.10% from the previous month, a 40.82% increase from December of the previous year, and a 39.30% increase from the same month of the previous year.

The highest increase in the Metal Price Index was seen in 304K Stainless Steel Premium at 5.44%, while the highest decrease was recorded in Palladium at 10.44%. This was followed by Silver at 8.60% and Tin at 8.19%.

In the Plastic Price Index, the highest increase was in PA prices at 0.58%, while the highest decrease was in PVC at 4.76%. This was followed by PE at 4.06% and PP at 3.16%.

In the Energy Price Index, the highest increase was in Global Natural Gas at 23.69%, while the highest decrease was in Marine Fuel at 3.94%. This was followed by Coking Coal at 2.78% and Global Crude Oil at 1.59%.

In the Food Price Index, Red Meat showed an increase of 1.13% and White Meat an increase of 0.84%. The Fruit and Vegetable group increased by 1.60% and 6.52%, respectively. The highest increase in the food group was recorded in Global Corn at 5.38%, while the highest decrease was in Global Sugar at 5.55%.

In the Service Price Index, the highest increase was in Container Shipping at 10.76%, while the highest decrease was in Accommodation with a reduction of 4.57%. This was followed by Car Rental with an increase of 0.07%.

The TÜSMOD Commodity Price Index is constructed using global stock prices, TÜIK data, and market prices, measuring changes in companies' purchasing prices. It has been published in the third week of each month since January 2013.

The TÜSMOD Commodity Price Index uses the prices from December 31, 2012, as the base, with a value of 100."
