TANKER REPORT - 34 Tankers Located at Black Sea Ports
There are a total of 34 tankers at Black Sea ports, which serve as the first leg for the oil coming to the region to reach the world via the Istanbul and Çanakkale Straits. According to a report prepared by Tribeca Shipping Services and shared via email, 18 of the tankers are aframax, 13 are suezmax, and 3 are panamax types. Considering the tankers that have not yet docked at the ports, the total number of tankers in the Black Sea is reported to be 43. The ports in Russia where tankers are docking include Novorossiysk, Taman, Kavkaz, Tuapse, and Supsa in Georgia. Currently, there are 25 tankers in Novorossiysk, 5 in Taman, 3 in Kavkaz, and 1 in Tuapse. There are no tankers at the Supsa port.
