THY has started flights to Ohrid in North Macedonia.

Turkish Airlines (IS:THYAO) has added Ohrid, one of the key tourism destinations in North Macedonia, to its flight network in Southern Europe. According to the company's announcement, Ohrid becomes Turkish Airlines' second destination in North Macedonia after Skopje, the 123rd in Europe, and the 353rd worldwide.

Lake Ohrid, recognized as one of Europe's richest biodiversity areas, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979, symbolizing the city. In 1980, the entire town of Ohrid was placed under UNESCO protection due to its historical and cultural fabric and natural beauty. Turkish Airlines has started operating four round trips per week from Istanbul Airport to Ohrid Saint Paul Airport, strengthening the regional transport network and offering travelers more options.
