MARKET OVERVIEW - The stock market closed slightly down.

Foreks reported that the BIST 100 index closed down by 36.69 points at 9612.84. According to the ForInvest News survey, a rise of 60.93 points was expected for the BIST 100 index. The closest prediction in the ForInvest News BIST 100 closing survey came from InvestAZ Investment's Zeynep Pehlivan, with a forecast of -44.1 points. A1 Capital's Mehmet Emre Sağlam made the second closest estimate at -48.56 points, while Investaz Investment's Mustafa Uğur Bayar followed with a prediction of -49.53 points.

In total, 30 analysts from brokerage firms participated in today's ForInvest News BIST 100 closing survey; 21 analysts predicted a positive close, while 9 analysts anticipated a negative close.
