Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that they are accelerating the integration of artificial intelligence into the railway network with local solutions to adapt it to the digital age. He stated that AI evaluates collected data at Automatic Train Inspection Stations to detect faults before they occur, significantly improving maintenance processes by providing remote monitoring and analysis capabilities along railway lines.

Uraloğlu evaluated AI-based technologies implemented in railways, highlighting that the investments made by Turkish State Railways (TCDD) in digitalization and AI technologies have transformed railway transportation. He emphasized that the Automatic Train Inspection Station (OTMİ) system, developed in collaboration with TCDD and TÜBİTAK, represents a revolutionary step in railway safety and maintenance processes, allowing for real-time analysis of critical components while trains are in motion.
