Consumer confidence in Turkey has reached its highest level in the last 22 months.

According to the Consumer Confidence Index report published by TÜİK for March 2025, consumer confidence in Turkey has increased compared to the previous month. This rise, based on the results of the consumer trends survey, is seen as a positive signal for the economy.

The consumer confidence index rose to 85.9. Calculated based on the consumer trends survey conducted jointly by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, the index increased by 4.6% from 82.1 in February to 85.9 in March. This increase indicates that consumers' confidence in the overall economic situation has improved, albeit cautiously. The index values range from 0 to 200, with values below 100 indicating pessimism and those above 100 reflecting optimism. The March figure of 85.9 shows that consumers remain cautious regarding economic conditions.
