Foreks - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ismail Bakayi announced that the letter from U.S. President Donald Trump to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei will be delivered to Iran by Enver Gargaş, an advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Bakayi made these statements to Iranian media regarding the delivery of the letter. He mentioned that Gargaş will meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi today and will present Trump's letter during this visit.
Additionally, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated after a Cabinet meeting that the letter from Trump to Khamenei has not yet reached Iran. Araghchi noted, "The letter has been written, but it has not reached us. It is expected to be delivered to Tehran soon by a representative of an Arab country."
