Foreign investors made a net purchase of $301.2 million on Borsa Istanbul in February.

In February, foreign investors on Borsa Istanbul made a net purchase of $301.2 million in the equity market. According to Borsa Istanbul data, foreign investors executed purchase transactions totaling $25.067 billion, while sales amounted to $24.766 billion. Consequently, the total trading volume for foreign investors reached $49.832 billion.

Throughout 2025, foreign investor trading activities have reached notable levels. In the first two months of the year, total purchases by foreign investors were $52.472 billion, with sales at $51.917 billion, resulting in a net acquisition of $555 million that contributed to maintaining a positive market trend. In January alone, foreign investors recorded purchases of $27.404 billion against $27.151 billion in sales, leading to a total transaction volume of $54.556 billion, while February saw a slight decrease in transaction volume but an increase in net purchases.
