On the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the main indices closed the single-session trading day with gains due to the Christmas holiday. The Hang Seng Index finished the day up by 1.1% at 20,098.29 points, while the Hang Seng Technology Index also rose by 1.1%, closing at 4,507.65 points. There will be no trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange tomorrow and Thursday.
