TEMSA Discusses Industry Solutions at the Fuso Canter Bodybuilders Meeting
TEMSA, one of the leading players in Turkey's automotive industry, met with industry representatives at the Fuso Canter Superstructure Manufacturers Meeting held on December 17-18. The meeting focused on technical developments, as well as the superior features and innovations of the Fuso Canter.
At the Fuso Canter Superstructure Manufacturers Meeting held in Antalya, TEMSA brought together industry representatives. The event, which took place over two days, saw the participation of TEMSA executives along with a total of 40 managers from 23 different superstructure manufacturing companies.
The event highlighted the role of superstructure manufacturers in designing vehicles in the light truck segment according to different sector needs. Various solutions were evaluated, including waste collection trucks for municipalities, open or closed bodies for the distribution sector, and telescopic platforms for electric distribution companies.
The meeting emphasized Fuso Canter's long-standing experience and innovative approach. The focal point of the meeting was Fuso Canter's success story, which strengthens its leading position in the industry with 60 years of experience globally and 40 years in Turkey. The robust and perforated chassis structure of Fuso Canter allows for extensive application areas, highlighting its adaptability for superstructures. The advantages of Fuso Canter, which provides cost efficiency for businesses due to its fuel economy performance, were shared with participants, along with detailed information about the eCanter model, representing the future of transportation with its environmentally friendly and electric design. Another agenda item was the GSR regulations set to be implemented in 2025.
On the second day of the event, academician and economist Prof. Dr. Erhan Aslanoğlu was a guest speaker.
TEMSA Canter Team Recognized by FUSO
In November, the TEMSA Canter team was awarded three separate operational excellence awards by FUSO. At the "Quality Awards for DTA KD Plants" ceremony, TEMSA won first place in the "People Excellence" category among 17 KD factories, while also being ranked in the top three for the "Process Excellence" and "Overall Best Performer" categories.
