Georgia's Central Bank Keeps Interest Rates Steady

Forex - The National Bank of Georgia (NBG) decided to keep the policy interest rate unchanged for the fifth consecutive meeting. According to the statement from the NBG, the benchmark interest rate was left at 8.00%. The NBG last reduced the rate by 25 basis points in May and had preferred to hold steady in subsequent meetings. Consumer prices in Georgia were reported to have an annual increase of 1.3% in November.
