Marszalek met with Trump at the golf facility on Monday to discuss potential appointments related to the crypto industry. According to an anonymous source familiar with the meeting, these appointments could potentially be in the financial departments, Congress, and the upcoming administration.

Discussions between Marszalek and Trump also included appointments related to Bitcoin reserves. A spokesperson for Crypto.com expressed optimism about future collaboration with the new administration. The spokesperson stated, "We look forward to working with the new administration to develop and advance clear regulations for the crypto industry so that the U.S. can be a global leader in digital assets and innovation."

This meeting follows a phone call between Trump and Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN) Inc. CEO Brian Armstrong last month, according to a report by Fortune. Executives in the crypto industry appear eager to establish a dialogue with the incoming administration and potentially influence policies related to digital assets.
