Market Update: Stock Market Ends First Trading Day of the Week with a Decline

The BIST 100 index closed the day at 9997.66 points, down by 127.8 points. According to the Foreks News survey, an increase of 22.37 points was expected for the BIST 100 index. The nearest estimate in the Foreks News BIST 100 index closing survey was made by InvestAZ Investment/Ilker Gonen at -91.46 points. The second closest estimate was made by InvestAZ Investment/Irfan Deryal at -89.56 points. The third closest estimate was made by A1 Capital/Mert Coşkunçay at -78.25 points. A total of 39 brokerage analysts participated in today's Foreks News BIST 100 index closing survey; 26 analysts predicted a positive closing, while 13 analysts predicted a negative closing.
