IMSIAD/Küçükoğlu: The Concept of Becoming a Self-Sufficient Country Has Reemerged as a Priority

Foreks - The 60th Agenda Meetings organized by Türkiye İMSAD were held under the title "2024 Evaluation - 2025 Expectations." Tayfun Küçükoğlu, the Chairman of Türkiye İMSAD Board, delivered the opening speech, stating, “As the construction materials industry, we anticipate that our total volume will reach 140 billion dollars in 2024. We observe that our construction materials industry is developing under six key impacts. These can be listed as urban transformation, new housing production, needs in earthquake regions, infrastructure investments, renovation needs, and export activities.”

The 60th Agenda Meetings, organized for the first time by Türkiye İMSAD (Turkish Construction Material Producers Association), took place online on Friday, December 13, 2024, with the support of Demirdöküm and GF Hakan Plastik. The meeting, which featured the opening speech by Tayfun Küçükoğlu, was closely followed by construction materials producers, business figures, and industry professionals. The meeting, held under the title "2024 Evaluation - 2025 Expectations," was moderated by Ferdi Erdoğan, the Vice Chairman of Türkiye İMSAD Board, with speakers including Türkiye İMSAD Economic Advisor Dr. Can Fuat Gürlesel and Economist Prof. Dr. Kerem Alkin.
