Contemporary Glass Shares Begin Trading on Borsa Istanbul

Shares of Çağdaş Cam Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. will begin trading on the Borsa İstanbul Main Market on December 17, 2024. The company’s shares, representing a capital of 168 million TL in nominal value, have been registered under the quota in accordance with Article 8 of the Quotation Directive. A total of 42 million TL nominal value shares, offered to the public, will be listed under the code CGCAM.E and will be traded continuously at a base price of 20 TL. Additionally, the maximum order value for these shares has been set at 1 million TL.

Çağdaş Cam's initial public offering attracted great interest.
During the public offering process, Çağdaş Cam collected requests for shares at a price of 20.00 TL for shares with a nominal value of 1 TL via the "Sale on the Exchange - Fixed Price Demand Collection and Sale Method" on December 11-12, 2024. A total of 31 million TL was raised through a capital increase and 11 million TL nominal value shares were sold via a sale from existing shareholders, resulting in a total public offering of 42 million TL nominal value shares. Consequently, the total size of the public offering reached 840 million TL.

Investors showed intense interest.
According to data provided by Borsa İstanbul, a total of 112,392,374 nominal value shares were requested, corresponding to 2.7 times the amount of shares offered, with requests amounting to 2,247,847,480 TL through 637,038 orders. Following the distribution, 42 million TL nominal value shares were sold to 628,813 investors. There was no allocation by investor group in the public offering; all requests were evaluated equally, and all shares offered were distributed to investors.
