Bor Şeker Seeks Competition Authority Approval for Transfer of Machinery and Equipment in Ethanol Plant Acquisition Process

Foreks announced that an application for permission has been submitted to the Competition Authority for the transfer of machinery and equipment within the facility for the acquisition process of the ethyl alcohol production facility.

In the statement made to KAP, it was mentioned: "In our special situation announcement dated November 20, 2024, it was stated that in line with our company's goals to increase ethyl alcohol production in our country and to contribute to the national economy by supporting the use of this raw material in the medical, cosmetic, and cleaning sectors, as well as creating export opportunities, an agreement was reached on November 11, 2024, to purchase the machinery and equipment within the facility from Redoks Analitik Cihazlar A.Ş. for a contract value of 7,200,000 USD + VAT. It was also noted that an application for the transfer process would be submitted to the Competition Authority and that the transfer would be carried out after receiving permission. In this context, our company submitted a permission application to the Competition Authority on December 13, 2024, for the transfer of these assets."
