TÜSIAD to Unveil E-Commerce Logistics Report on December 17
On December 17, Tuesday, from 09:30 to 13:00, a conference titled "The Driving Force of E-Commerce: The Future Shaped by Logistics" will be held at the TÜSİAD Conference Hall. The event will address the changes the e-commerce sector has experienced in recent years and the transformations occurring in logistics operations as a result. A report titled "Challenges and Policy Recommendations in E-Commerce Logistics," prepared by PwC, will be shared with the public during the conference. The event will bring together prominent figures from the industry.
The opening speeches will be made by TÜSİAD Chairman of the Board Orhan Turan and TÜSİAD Transportation and Logistics Working Group Chairman Nilgün Keleş.
Following the opening, PwC Senior Manager Onur Gültekin will present the "Challenges and Policy Recommendations in E-Commerce Logistics Report." Sponsored by Amazon Turkey and supported by Boyner Holding and Sertrans Logistics, the report includes an analysis of the current state of the e-commerce logistics sector, especially in the warehousing area, along with policy recommendations for areas of development.
During the event, Arzum Chairman Murat Kolbaşı will answer questions from Hakan Güldağ, Chairman of the Board of the Economy Newspaper, under the title “The Power Hub of Retail: The Shopping Experience Transformed by Logistics.”
The first panel session, titled "Trade that Removes Borders: Global Transformation and Strategies in E-Commerce," will be moderated by Vahap Munyar, General Coordinator of the Economy Newspaper. Speakers for this session will include Taner Horoz, Chairman of Horoz Group of Companies, Batuhan Keleş, Board Member of Sertrans Logistics, and Deniz Rekkali, General Manager of Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) Turkey Operations.
The second panel session of the day will take place under the moderation of Didem Eryar Ünlü, Coordinator and Sustainability Editor of the Economy Newspaper. Titled “The Future of Logistics: It's Time to Invest in People, Technology, and Green Transformation,” the speakers for this session will be; Anıl Haşimoğlu, Deputy General Manager of Boyner Büyük Mağazacılık Logistics, Semra Özcan, Board Member of Wilat Turkey, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tanyaş, Head of the International Trade and Logistics Department at Maltepe University and Vice President of LODER, and Prof. Dr. Deniz Tunçalp, Faculty Member at Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Business Administration.
