ATO/Baran: We Believe We Have the Capacity and Capability to Implement the Communication Project

Forex - Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) Board Chairman Gürsel Baran stated that they consider the "Domestic and National Communication Device" project implemented by the Turkish World Parliamentary Foundation (TDPV) and the Turkish World Business Council to be very valuable and that they support it.

In a written statement, ATO President Gürsel Baran expressed their heartfelt support for the communication device project, which is the most important domestic and national project after Turkey's car Togg and has domestic software. Baran noted their suggestion to produce the local and national communication device with a cooperative model, saying, "The initiative for the production of the local and national communication device, led by TDPV Turkish World Business Council, of which ATO Council President Mr. Mustafa Deryal is also the Honorary President, is a very valuable project. As businesspeople, we will move together with our brother civil society organization."

Baran stated that the Special Expertise Commission on Domestic and National Production Strategies established by the Ankara Chamber of Commerce Council could take responsibility in realizing the project, adding, "TDPV Turkish World Business Council President, also our ATO Council Member Mr. Aydın Erkoç, and council members previously presented the project to Dr. İsmail Hatipoğlu, the former Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance and Chairman of the Board of Turkish Telekom, and an agreement was reached. The project, to be conducted under the leadership of Türk Telekom with the support of our businessmen through a cooperative model, will be our national project in the field of communication that we will be proud of, just like our domestic and national car Togg."

Baran emphasized the strategic importance of the project, which will also include the pride of the Capital, defense industry company Aselsan, for secure communication, stating, "As a country, we believe that we have the capacity and capability to implement a communication project that will provide benefits in all areas, especially in the economy, with the knowledge, human resources, and technological competence we possess. The strength that all relevant sectors will collectively demonstrate will be an important step for the future of our country."
