SEC Resumes Investigation into Elon Musk's Neuralink Company
According to a letter shared by Elon Musk on the social media platform X, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has reopened an investigation into Musk's brain chip venture, Neuralink, this week.
In a letter written by Musk's attorney, Alex Spiro, and addressed to the outgoing SEC Chairman Gary Gensler on December 12, it was stated that the commission had made a settlement request and had given Musk 48 hours to accept a monetary payment or face multiple charges.
Spiro wrote in the letter that neither he nor Musk would be intimidated by the SEC and that they reserved their legal rights.
