SoftwareOne Plans Stock-Financed Bid to Acquire Crayon Group
SoftwareOne Holding AG is on the verge of acquiring Crayon Group Holding ASA, with a potential announcement expected later this month. According to sources familiar with the matter, SoftwareOne is finalizing its offer to take the Norwegian company private.
Reportedly, the acquisition is expected to be financed entirely or largely through stock. Following the news, SoftwareOne's stock price fell by approximately 12% to 6.39 Swiss francs, valuing the company at around 1 billion Swiss francs.
On the other hand, Crayon Group's stock price rose by 8.5%, reaching 137.7 Norwegian kroner, increasing its market value to about 12.16 billion kroner.
SoftwareOne, which is in talks about its own sale, has not made any comments regarding the potential deal. Similarly, Crayon Group has also not responded to requests for comments on the matter.
