Russian Deputy Foreign Minister: Relations with Turkey Progressing as Usual Despite Syrian Crisis
Forex - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko stated that the bilateral relations between Russia and Turkey are progressing as usual, despite the Syrian crisis.
When asked by journalists whether Russian-Turkish relations are strained due to the Syrian crisis, he replied, "As you know, the relationships are not interrupted; we maintain a dialogue with Turkey on all issues."
The Deputy Minister reminded that Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov recently met with his Turkish counterpart in Doha.
Grushko added, "We have our own agenda, which includes Turkey, and we will continue to discuss all regional issues with them."
