Bolat: We Place Great Importance on Diversifying Collaboration Areas to Reach the $30 Billion Bilateral Trade Volume with Iran

The Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, emphasized the importance of diversifying cooperation areas to achieve the bilateral trade volume target of 30 billion dollars with Iran.

Speaking through X, Bolat stated: "Yesterday, we were received by the President of Iran, Mr. Masoud Pezeshkian, during our visit to Tehran for the 29th session of the Turkey-Iran Joint Economic Commission.

Under the High-Level Cooperation Council, which has become multidimensional and comprehensive in recent years under the leadership of the Presidents of both countries, relations between Turkey and Iran continue to strengthen in the economic and commercial fields as well.

As Turkey, we attach great importance to diversifying cooperation areas to achieve our bilateral trade volume target of 30 billion dollars. In this context, we raised the issues of developing border trade centers as well as opening new border gates during the meeting."
