Atalay Özdayı, CEO of Baumit Turkey, highlighted that their customer-oriented approach and innovative products strengthened their position in the industry in 2024 and revealed the company's targets for 2025.

“Atalay Özdayı stated that they significantly increased brand awareness among all target audiences in 2024; ‘In 2024, which hosted many challenges for our country and industry, we achieved double-digit growth, surpassing the targets we set. Despite the declining number of large projects and market contraction, this growth rate demonstrated our preparedness for any challenges. On the other hand, we managed to maintain customer satisfaction at the highest level in all operational areas with our pre-sales and after-sales services. Additionally, by launching solution-oriented and problem-solving products, we optimized all our processes, enabling our customers to achieve more profitable results in a shorter time. Throughout the year, we structured all our product and service processes based on the dynamic needs for fast, easy, and efficient application on construction sites. As a company that quickly responds to changing needs and expectations, we clearly demonstrated our difference in the industry in 2024 with these successes,’ he said.

“We aim for double-digit growth in 2025” Özdayı indicated that Baumit Turkey's priority is to provide high added value to the construction process of sustainable buildings together with all stakeholders in the industry; ‘In this direction, we focus on increasing our product diversity, service quality, and customer satisfaction. We will continue to introduce our new product range, which we have been working on for a long time, to the industry by 2025, enhancing our effectiveness in various customer channels and markets throughout the year. Additionally, thanks to our new project sales channel, launched at the beginning of this year, we will implement many important projects for which we have already made agreements and are still working. With these actions, we are targeting double-digit growth in our market share in the thermal insulation sector, our core area of expertise, in 2025, just as we did this year. Based on the growth we anticipate over the next few years, we plan to accelerate our efforts for new investments in Turkey. Another key agenda for us will be to continue leading innovation in the sector while directing the insulation and building materials sector with eco-friendly solutions that provide high energy efficiency. We will continue to work tirelessly to develop products that enable faster, more efficient, durable, and sustainable structures,’ he concluded.

“We have focused on reducing our carbon emissions by 20% per ton” Özdayı emphasized that environmental sustainability has always been a central focus; ‘As Baumit, we have made the recipes for our core expertise, thermal insulation mortars, more eco-friendly through our Go2morrow project, initiated under the philosophy that 'The cleanest energy is the energy that has never been consumed.' Initially, we reduced the carbon emissions of our thermal insulation mortars by 41%. We aim to achieve much more for our planet by 2030. Within the framework of the Go2morrow movement, our top priority is to reduce our carbon emissions globally by 20% per ton. In line with our mission to utilize renewable energy sources, we will continue our efforts to consume 10% less energy in each ton of our products and to transition from a ‘produce-use-dispose’ approach to a ‘transformation and recycling’ understanding,’ he concluded.
