Istanbul Stock Exchange Kicks Off the Day with Gains: Which Stocks Took Center Stage at the Opening?

The BIST 100 index started the day with a 0.50% increase at 10,109.23 points. The BIST 100 index closed the previous day at 10,058.47 points, down 0.40%. During the day, the index saw a low of 10,008.89 points and reached a high of 10,171.50 points. The dollar-based resistance for the BIST 100 remains at 290 dollars.

Among the stocks included in the BIST 100, 27 closed the day in positive territory while 73 stocks were in the negative. The index's daily trading volume reached approximately 95.8 billion TL, constituting 73% of the total volume. In the initial transactions of the BIST 100, the upward momentum of half a point was maintained, with the insurance, communication, and holding sectors showing a value increase around 1%. The textile, banking, and technology sectors were the least demanded in the first hour.

In the general market of Borsa Istanbul, KENT, DERHL, and ALVES were the top rising stocks in the first hour, while BOSSA, BINBN, and SKTAS experienced the most significant decreases.

In the domestic foreign exchange market, the dollar/TL started the day flat at 34.87. Euro/TL saw a half-point increase to 36.8, while gold per gram increased by 0.8% to trade at 3,048 TL.

In international markets, Asian indices are preparing to close the day positively, while US and European futures are showing selling movements in the morning hours.
