Bolat: We Attach Great Importance to Diversifying Collaboration Areas to Reach Our Trade Volume Target of 30 Billion Dollars with Iran
Forex - Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat emphasized the importance of diversifying collaboration areas to achieve our bilateral trade volume target of 30 billion dollars. In a statement made yesterday via X, Minister Bolat expressed that they were received by Iranian President Mr. Masoud Pezekian during their visit to Tehran for the 29th Turkey-Iran Joint Economic Commission meeting. Bolat continued his statement as follows: "In recent years, under the leadership of the presidents of both countries, Turkey-Iran relations have become multidimensional and comprehensive within the framework of the High-Level Cooperation Council, and are continuing to strengthen in the economic and commercial field. As Turkey, we place great importance on diversifying collaboration areas to achieve our bilateral trade volume target of 30 billion dollars. In this context, we brought up the development of border trade centers and the opening of new border gates during the meeting."
