Foreign Investors Remained on the Buy Side in Borsa Istanbul in November

Foreign investors operating on Borsa Istanbul demonstrated a remarkable performance in November through their transactions. In November, foreign investors made a total of $23.282 billion in purchases and $23.166 billion in sales in the equity markets, resulting in a net purchase of $116 million.

When examining annual data, it is seen that foreign investors conducted a total of $280.148 billion in purchases and $283.167 billion in sales throughout 2024. As a result of these transactions, a total of $3.019 billion in net sales was reported.

How did foreigners act during the January-November period? A detailed analysis of the first 11 months of the year reveals that particularly in January, there was a notable net purchase of $237 million. Additionally, net purchases of $64 million and $78 million occurred in March and April, respectively. However, May and June stand out as periods of high net sales.
