Since his victory last month, Elon Musk's wealth has rapidly increased, making him the first person to surpass a net worth of 400 billion dollars. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk's net worth was boosted by a private stock sale from SpaceX, which increased his wealth by approximately 50 billion dollars. Tesla Inc. shares also reached an all-time high on Wednesday, raising Musk's fortune to 447 billion dollars. The index indicates that Musk's one-day wealth increase of 62.8 billion dollars marks the largest increase on record and helped lift the total wealth of the world's 500 richest individuals above 10 trillion dollars for the first time. Since the beginning of 2024, Musk has added approximately 218 billion dollars to his net worth, outpacing the other members of the group.
