Which Stocks Gained the Most on Borsa Istanbul Today?

The BIST 100 index continued its downward trend today. The BIST 100 rose to 10,171 points during the morning session, but faced selling pressure, dropping to the 10,000 point threshold by midday. Although there were some buying reactions pushing it up to 10,100 points, the index was moving at 10,060 points with a decline of 0.37% towards the close. The index excluding BIST 100 saw more selling today, with a loss of over half a point.

In the last hour, the sectors that showed gains were trade, transportation, services, and insurance. The sectors that declined the most today were led by sports, banking, and construction. The top five gaining stocks in the BIST 100 towards the close were as follows: VESBE AKSA KTLEV KOZAA MGROS The top five declining stocks at the end of the day in the BIST 100 were: AGROT PEKGY KLSER EUPWR CWENE Overall in Borsa Istanbul, AGROT, along with BINBN and BOSSA, were the biggest losers. Among the stocks trading at their ceiling prices, IPEKE, DITAS, and TBORG were noted for providing the highest gains.

In international markets, European indices were moving positively towards the close, except for the IBEX 35. U.S. markets opened positively following inflation data that met expectations. Nasdaq stood out with nearly 1% increase.
