Trade Minister Bolat Meets with Economic Cooperation Organization Secretary General Khan in Tehran

Forex - Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat met with Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Asaad Majeed Khan in Tehran.
In a statement made on X, Bolat said:
"Today we are in Tehran to address bilateral economic and trade relations and to participate in the Joint Economic Commission meeting.
As part of our visit, we met with the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, Asaad Majeed Khan.
We support the development of relations among the member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization, which bring together countries with a population of over 500 million, rich energy resources, and strategic locations. In this context, the stable increase in Turkey's bilateral trade volume with the member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization to 25 billion dollars over the last four years is also an indication of this.
Turkey will continue to support the development of political, economic, and cultural relations among the countries in the region. On this occasion, I wish success to Mr. Khan, who was appointed as Secretary General in August, and I hope he will make significant contributions to the diversification of our areas of cooperation."
