News Headline: Trade Sales Volume Increased by 7.2% Year-on-Year in October; Retail Sales Volume Up by 15.0% Year-on-Year

Forex - Trade sales volume (2021=100) increased by 7.2% in October 2024 compared to the same month of the previous year. In the same month, the sales volume for wholesale and retail trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 9.2%, the wholesale trade sales volume increased by 3.8%, while the retail trade sales volume saw a rise of 15.0%.

According to the statement made by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the trade sales volume decreased by 1.9% month-on-month, while the retail sales volume increased by 0.2%.

In October 2024, the trade sales volume (2021=100) decreased by 1.9% compared to the previous month. In the same month, the sales volume for wholesale and retail trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 1.4%, the wholesale trade sales volume decreased by 3.4%, while the retail trade sales volume increased by 0.2%.
