Biotrend to Become Lead Investor in Neo Portfolio Management Cleantech Venture Capital Fund

Foreks - Biotrend has decided to sign a contract for investment as a lead investor in the Cleantech Venture Capital Investment Fund established by Neo Portfolio Management Inc.

In a statement to KAP, it was mentioned: "Our company has decided to evaluate its resources in the Venture Capital Investment Fund (VCIF) and to sign a contract for investment as a lead investor in the Cleantech Venture Capital Investment Fund created with Neo Portfolio Management Inc.

The objective is to make venture capital investments through capital, debt-equity mix, and similar means into startups operating in the areas of energy efficiency, energy production, energy storage, waste management, recycling, smart cities, biotechnology, and water and resource management, which develop technologies and have high growth potential, while also providing strategic support to help these companies achieve their growth targets, thereby creating long-term value.

It has been decided that our company will invest in the Cleantech Venture Capital Investment Fund, established by Neo Portfolio Management Inc. In accordance with the contract signed regarding the purchase of participation shares between our company and Neo Portfolio Management Inc., it has been decided to make an investment of 40,000,000 TL to acquire participation shares from the Cleantech Venture Capital Investment Fund. The process of purchasing participation shares will be conducted in phases."
