Yuxino Logistics Signs Partnership Agreement with Pacific Global Logistics

Foreks - To realize the dream of a Rail Silk Road from Asia to Europe, Pacific Eurasia, which has signed inter-country agreements and transportation contracts since 2019, signed a cooperation agreement with Yuxino Logistics, a subsidiary of Chongqing Logistics, during the 2nd China-Europe Railway Express Chengdu-Chongqing Global Partners Conference held in Chongqing, China on December 5, 2024, in collaboration with Pacific Global Logistics.

This agreement aims to strengthen the China-Turkey logistics corridor and to make trade between the two countries more efficient and cost-effective through regular train services. The agreement is considered a significant milestone in line with Turkey's global logistics and transportation goals. Pacific Eurasia will successfully manage this route by taking over all operations and organizational processes along the China-Kazakhstan-Caspian Sea-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey line. Additionally, to reduce logistics costs for exporters and provide sustainable transportation services, containers purchased from China will be made available for customer use.

Highlighting the Middle Corridor with the Theme of "Connectivity and Open Exchange," F. Nusret Dur, Chairman of the Board of Pacific Eurasia, stated that the main theme of the China-Europe Railway Express Conference was "Connectivity and Open Exchange." He noted that the conference addressed ways to enhance the quality, efficiency, and safety of logistics services globally and included the signing of a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement between the International Union of the "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route" and Chinese logistics platforms. The event was attended by officials from Chinese ministries, international transportation organizations, industrial parks, and leading global logistics firms, along with numerous experts.

One of the key outcomes of the conference was the increased global awareness of the strategic importance of the Middle Corridor. It was agreed to strengthen supportive infrastructure, enhance digitization, and establish effective transportation systems.

New Block Train Service Between China and Turkey On December 6, 2024, Pacific Eurasia dispatched another block train from China to Turkey with the participation of Chongqing Logistics and Pacific Global executives. Two significant aspects of this operation led by Pacific Eurasia stand out: Complete Organizational Competence: Previously managed by companies from different countries, the entire China-Kazakhstan-Caspian Sea-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey routes have now been executed for the first time under the operating codes and organization of Pacific Eurasia. This operational advantage will continue in subsequent processes. Cost Advantage and Container Supply: To minimize the cost challenges in container supply, Pacific Eurasia aims to provide exporters with containers purchased from China, ensuring more predictable and cost-effective logistics services.

"Turkey's Central Position in Logistics is Strengthening" Fatih Nusret Dur, Chairman of Pacific Eurasia, emphasized that this strategic cooperation will contribute to Turkey's global objectives in the transportation sector, particularly highlighting significant collaborative agreements in Europe and rail and road-focused projects extending from China to the Adriatic. He pointed out that the block trains launched under the leadership of Pacific Eurasia and Pacific Global Logistics are tangible indicators of this vision. "With our logistics initiative extending from China to the Adriatic, we have taken a valuable step toward making Turkey a central country in transportation. These trains embarking on their journey represent a strong signature for both our company and our country's transportation sector." Dur noted that investments in railways are rapidly continuing in line with Turkey's vision of being an international hub in transportation and logistics, drawing attention to strategic goals in this area: "In the upcoming period, the share of rail transport in international freight transportation is targeted to be significantly increased. This strategy and approach once again highlight the correctness and importance of the investments we are making as Pacific Eurasia."

"The Middle Corridor Will Be the Focus of the Logistics World by 2025" Erol Erkan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Pacific Eurasia, emphasized that the Middle Corridor will play a more critical role for both Turkey and international transportation in the future. He pointed out that geopolitical and economic developments in various logistics corridors extending from China to the world have brought the importance of the Middle Corridor back to the forefront. "We were already aware of the need to fill the limited capacity correctly. In these discussions, we once again saw how right we were. The interest of other companies in the corridor is an indication that 2025 will be the year of the Middle Corridor." Erkan noted that through their operations, they have strengthened the supply chains of Chinese global suppliers to Turkey and Europe, ensuring that high value-added industrial products receive fast and secure logistics services. "In the coming days, we continue our efforts to organize new trains from various cities in China."
