Boeing's Aircraft Deliveries Decline to 13 in November
Forex - Boeing reported that it delivered 13 commercial jets in November, which is less than a quarter of the 56 jets it delivered to customers a year ago. During a seven-week strike that ended on November 5, deliveries dropped to 14 in October as much of the company’s aircraft production remained closed. Boeing resumed production of its best-selling 737 MAX last week. The U.S. aircraft manufacturer is trying to increase 737 production to 38 per month to generate much-needed revenue after burning through billions of dollars in cash in the first three quarters. November deliveries consisted of nine 737s, two 777 freighters, and two 787-9s. U.S. airline United Airlines received three aircraft, two of which were 737 MAX and one 787.
