Codelco's Copper Production in Chile Remained Steady in October

According to data released by the Chilean Copper Commission (Cochilco), Codelco, the state-owned miner of Chile and the world's largest metal producer, recorded copper production of 127,900 tons in October, unchanged from the same month last year. The data shows that copper production at the Escondida mine, controlled by BHP, increased by 22% during the month, reaching 108,000 tons, while production at the Collahuasi mine, jointly operated by Glencore and Anglo American, declined by approximately 10%, totaling 49,500 tons.
