BIST 100 Kicks Off the Day with a Flat Opening: Which Stocks are Taking the Spotlight?
The BIST 100 index started the day at a flat level of 10,257.19 points. The index closed at 10,257.39 points with a 1.75% increase in yesterday's trading. During the day, the index saw a low of 10,149.91 and a high of 10,262.28 points, while it rose to 294.65 dollars in dollar terms. Of the stocks traded on the BIST 100, 79 recorded gains while 18 declined. The trading volume in the BIST 100 reached 117.7 billion TL, accounting for 74.36% of the total volume.
The cement stocks that stood out with an 8% increase in value yesterday remain at the forefront today with a rise of about 3%. Following these, transportation and tourism sectors showed moderate gains. In early trading, IT, technology, and holding companies experienced partial declines, leading to a balanced opening overall for the market.

Across Borsa Istanbul, LMKDC, along with USAK and ACSEL, were among the stocks that saw the most significant increase at the opening. Meanwhile, BRMEN, QNBFK, and YESIL were observed as the stocks with the most considerable declines.
In the domestic currency market, the dollar/TL starts the day with a 0.1% increase at 34.84. The euro/TL is up by 0.2% at 36.82, and the gram gold has increased by 0.8% to 2,990 TL.
Abroad, Asian indices are preparing to close the day with a predominantly positive outlook. Yesterday, a mixed appearance was observed in European markets, while U.S. indices ended the day in the red. In the morning hours, it seems that U.S. and European futures are trading negatively.
