UPDATE - Anadolu Insurance's Sigortam Cepte App Set to Launch Today

Anadolu Sigorta announced that its Sigortam Cepte application, which was temporarily closed due to a cyber attack, will be reopened within the day.

In the statement made by Anadolu Sigorta, it was noted that a rapid and comprehensive investigation regarding the unauthorized access incident to the notification/message service in the external layer of the Sigortam Cepte application, which occurred on December 9, 2024, at 23:20, was conducted by the company.

The statement emphasized, "First and foremost, we would like to share that our users' personal data is completely safe and there has been no data leakage."

The following information was provided in the statement:

"As a result of our investigations, unauthorized access has been detected to the notification/message service in the external layer of our Sigortam Cepte application. The unauthorized access was limited only to the notification/message service, and our company's databases and security infrastructure were not affected by this situation.

As a precautionary measure, our mobile application Sigortam Cepte, which was temporarily closed for processing, will be opened for the services of our users within the day.

We would like to inform the public that protecting our customers' personal data is our top priority and responsibility."
