China's Soybean Imports Decreased by 9% in November
Forex - China imported 7.15 million tons of soybeans in November, which was lower than expected due to a decrease in shipments from Brazil. However, despite this decline, China, the world's largest oilseed buyer, is on track for a record year on an annual basis. According to data from the Chinese Customs Bureau, soybean imports were approximately 9% below the 7.92 million tons imported in the same month last year. Analysts note that the larger-than-expected decrease stems from the decline in Brazilian soybean shipments. Analysts had forecasted import figures between 7 to 8.5 million tons.
