Lydia Acquires Ufuk Investment from Yıldız Holding
Forex - A new acquisition news has emerged from Lydia, which converted Lydia Holding A.Ş. by purchasing Milliyet Pazarlama (MilPa) shares a year ago. Ufuk Yatırım (IS:UFUK), a subsidiary of Yıldız Holding, has now joined under the Lydia Holding umbrella with a $48 million acquisition.
As one of Turkey's innovative groups, Lydia Holding has made another acquisition within the framework of its "sustainable development" strategy. Following the $48 million acquisition, Ufuk Yatırım Yönetim ve Gayrimenkul A.Ş. (Ufuk Yatırım), a subsidiary of Yıldız Holding, has become part of Lydia Holding.
106 THOUSAND SQUARE METERS OF LAND NEXT TO SABİHA GÖKÇEN Listed on Borsa Istanbul, Ufuk Yatırım had purchased an 83.8% stake in Toprak Finansal Kiralama A.Ş. from the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) in 2005. In 2006, Ufuk Yatırım merged with Toprak Finansal Kiralama, thus becoming a publicly traded company. Recently, it reported that it purchased 11 plots of land with a total area of 106,590 square meters, neighboring Sabiha Gökçen Airport, for 1.2 billion TL.
SHARE TRANSFER TRANSACTIONS COMPLETED ON DECEMBER 9 Following the acquisition, the share transfer transactions of Ufuk Yatırım were completed under the leadership of Lydia Holding; through a consortium including Lydia Yeşil Enerji, 1000 Yatırımlar Holding (IS:BINHO), Bulls Yatırım Menkul Değerler, Bulls Yatırım Holding, and Re-Pie Portföy, as of December 9, 2024.
WE WILL CONTINUE TO CREATE VALUE FOR TURKEY Sharing the new period targets after this acquisition, Lydia Holding Chairman Enver Çevik stated, "We are pleased to have integrated Ufuk Yatırım after Lydia Yeşil Enerji. We have completed the acquisition of Ufuk Yatırım in full agreement with Yıldız Holding, one of the most important companies in the Turkish economy. This purchase was one of the key pillars of our long-term growth strategy."
Enver Çevik continued his remarks: "As part of our sustainable and balanced growth strategy, we have transferred a portion of the shares acquired, valued at 1,011,610 TL nominal, to our subsidiary Lydia Yeşil Enerji. All these transactions will play a significant role in our growth journey in the upcoming period.
