The Environmental Impact Assessment Process for Şişecam's Automotive RES Project Has Begun

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process has begun for the Şişecam Automotive RES project planned by Şişecam (IS:SISE). The General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permit and Supervision provided the following information on its official website:

“The EIA application file submitted to our Ministry regarding the ŞİŞECAM AUTOMOTİV WIND POWER PLANT (1 Turbine - 4 MWm / 4 MWe) project planned by ŞİŞECAM OTOMOTİV A.Ş. in the Büyükkarıştıran Organized Industrial Zone (Parcel number 80, Block 418) in the Büyükkarıştıran Municipality of Lüleburgaz district in Kırklareli province has been examined in accordance with Article 8 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation. It has been determined that the application has been prepared in accordance with the EIA General Format, and the EIA process for the project has been initiated. Until the completion of the Environmental Impact Assessment process, all information related to the process, as well as opinions, questions, and suggestions regarding the project, can be sent to the Kırklareli Governorship (Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change) or the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.”
