Izdemir Energy's Solar Field Expansion Project EIA Report Submitted for Review

Foreks - The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) file for the Solar Energy Plant Area Expansion project planned by Izdemir Energy (IS:IZENR) has been opened for public consultation.

In a statement regarding the matter on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permission and Supervision, the following information was provided:

"The EIA Report prepared for the SOLAR ENERGY PLANT AREA EXPANSION project planned by IZDEMİR ENERJİ ELEKTRİK ÜRETİM A.Ş. in the Salihli district of Manisa Province (TOTAL INSTALLED POWER: 167.036 MWM/150 MWE, TOTAL AREA: from 182.233 hectares to 194.384 hectares) has been reviewed and finalized by the Review and Evaluation Commission (REC). The report has been opened for public opinions and suggestions for a period of ten (10) calendar days at the Ministry and at the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, in accordance with Article 14(1) of the EIA Regulation. The opinions submitted to the Ministry/Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change will be taken into account in the decision-making process regarding the project. During this process, opinions and suggestions can be submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change or to the Manisa Provincial Directorates of Environment and Urbanization."
