Challenging Electricity's Newçiftlik RES Project Stakeholder Meeting Scheduled for January 6th

Forex - The Review and Evaluation Meeting regarding the Yeniçiftlik Wind Power Plant project planned by Zorlu Elektrik (IS:ZOREN) will be held on January 6.

In a statement on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permit and Inspection, the following information was provided: "The Yeniçiftlik Wind Power Plant project (250 MWm/250 MWe, 42 Turbines) and Energy Storage Facility (250 MWe/250 MWh) planned by Zorlu Elektrik Enerjisi İthalat, İhracat ve Toptan Ticaret A.Ş. within the borders of Tekirdağ province, Çorlu, Marmaraereğlisi, Muratlı, and Süleymanpaşa districts has submitted its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report to our Ministry in accordance with Article 11 of the EIA Regulation, and the review and evaluation process has begun. An IDK meeting regarding the project will be held on 06/01/2025. The EIA Report submitted to our Ministry is available at https://eced-duyuru.csb.gov.tr/eced-prod/duyurular.xhtml."
