The EIA Process for Tüpraş's Alkylation Facility Project Has Started

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process has begun for the alkylation facility project planned by Tüpraş (IS:TUPRS).

In a statement on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permission, and Inspection, the following information was provided:

"The ALKYLATION FACILITY, planned to be constructed by TURKISH PETROLEUM REFINERIES INC. IZMIR REFINERY, located in Aliaga district of IZMIR province, Atatürk neighborhood, parcel 13 of block 560 (PROPANE: 1,460 TONS/YEAR, N-BUTANE: 4,051.5 TONS/YEAR, ALKYLATE: 141,985 TONS/YEAR), has had its P.A.D. file submitted to the Governor's Office of IZMIR, and has been reviewed in accordance with Article 16 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation. Consequently, the EIA process for the project has commenced."
