CW Energy Completes Installation of 2196.35 kWp Solar Power System on Roof of an Antalya-Based Company
CW Energy has added another collaboration to its portfolio by completing the installation of a solar power plant (SPP) with a capacity of 2,196.35 kWp on the roof of a factory operating in Antalya.
Volkan Yılmaz, CEO of CW Energy, stated that solar power plants have become significantly important in energy production worldwide. He emphasized that SPPs stand out as the energy solutions of the future due to their environmentally friendly structures, economic advantages, and sustainability. Yılmaz remarked, “Just like in the world, solar power plants in our country are distinguished by their eco-friendly nature, economic benefits, and renewability. The rapidly increasing number of solar power plants plays a vital role in meeting our energy needs as one of the most important steps towards transitioning to clean and renewable energy."
Yılmaz pointed out that solar power plants also reduce countries' dependence on foreign energy by increasing local energy production, stating that countries reliant on fossil fuels can meet their energy needs more sustainably thanks to solar energy.
He highlighted the growing interest in solar power plants due to their advantages, saying, “We have completed the installation of a solar power plant with a capacity of 2,196.35 kWp on the roof of a company operating in Antalya. This project will prevent approximately 1,442,343 kg of carbon dioxide emissions annually. This amount is equivalent to the carbon dioxide that 218 trees remove from the atmosphere each year.”
Expressing that they are contributing to a sustainable future by connecting another company to solar energy, Yılmaz added that they will continue to produce projects without slowing down.
